Santa Fe needs a local project that brings together individuals with disabilities who are receiving low-end services when they are ready and able to join a team to work, grow, recover more fully. Santa Fe can and will embrace this group in a way that is on-the-cutting-edge, inclusive and respectful. I am a Certified Prevention Specialist with a NM teacher’s certification and current work with individuals who have disabilities that do not keep them from wanting to do more. They are an able and diverse group of people who are ready to do more for themselves and their community. I propose a team formed from Assets in Action’s Bernadette Lauritzen and myself in tandem with local business.
