What if you could jazz up your July into a Juggernaut of jaunty, juicy jamborees that made a difference, moved mountains and just plain mattered?

You can.

Pop a couple pints of peanut butter (and other non-perishables) into a (re-used) plastic bag or some kind of perpetual pouch and meet us for MIXed Bag at Santa Fe’s incredible The Food Depot in the Siler Rufina Nexus neighborhood.

You’ll get to proffer your peanut butter and pontificate about which pitch most provoked your consumer itch as you meet the beguiling and bountiful businesses of bizMIX 2019 and put your (wooden) nickel where your noggin nods. Somebody cruises with crazy cash and it’s your vote that reveals who vies for the Venmo.

DJ Miguel will fill the wild warehouse wonderland of The Food Depot with a willful walloping of sonorous soundwaves.

Angel Fire Vodka will bring its jumped up jalopy and unload buckets of boozy blessings to be carved into cocktails by the quixotic craftmasters from the brilliant Jean Cocteau bar where they also show moving pictures and do something with some famous dude. The critical capture is that your data delivers this sweet nectar to you completely free, if you take a crack at our survey: https://www.mixsantafe.com/survey

Also free will be the food fabulously furnished via a collaboration between United Way of Santa Fe County and The Food Depot—the super killer Kids Kitchen will be hosting three separate stations, a taco bar, a pasta bar and a slider bar. Yeah, WITH veggie and gluten-free options.

The moral of this story—which involves you gloriously basking in FREE music, a free drink and three kinds of food bars while you party inside (and outside) a ridiculous warehouse—is remember to bring your donation of peanut butter! Other non-perishables also accepted.

Plus, learn more about the incredible organizations creating change in the center of your city: Kitchen Angels, Homewise, and the Siler Yard Arts and Creativity Center.

Also, did we mention you should bring peanut butter (or other non-perishables?) Well, ya should, because a bunch a bad-ass businesses have stepped up to give all you groovy givers a shot at going home with:

• Tickets to the Souper Bowl
• A three course meal for two at Terra Restaurant
• Two nights staycation at Buffalo Thunder Resort + Casino
• Two tix to Meow Wolf
• A killer gift of green and gourmet groceries from Squash Blossom
• Six ticket pass to Santa Fe Fuego!!!

And…if we weren’t loud enough before, meet the next incredible businesses that will be serving your community, share your thoughts, fight food insecurity, find true love, become a better citizen and wake up full of power and possibility. That’s how MIX rolls.

Let’s remember this July, Santa Fe—see you there. Plus, you can keep the party going and celebrate bizMIX alumnus Haj Khalsa’s company HANGTIME, and its launch of the KOALA at the Rufina Taproom from 8-10 p.m.
