My So-Called Apocalypse, a Made by Mix half-hour Santa Fe zombie film has been accepted, out of hundreds of entries, for the Atlanta Horror Film Festival.
The half-hour film first screened in April, 2011 at The Screen, and was funded by a Mix Santa Fe grant, after winning a monthly Mix challenge to create a half-hour movie or TV show about Santa Fe.
The Atlanta Horror Film Festival will be held September 15 – 17, 2011 at the Goat Farm Arts Center in Atlanta, GA.
My So-Called Apocalypse will screen Sept. 16 in the Comedy Horror Shorts division.
In the film, Santa Fe has been over-run by Zombies, challenging the creative culture of the city. Numerous Santa Fe landmarks and people are featured throughout the film.
