I was born and raised here in Santa Fe. I had the good fortune to grow up in a totally off the gird house, which has given me a deep appreciation, and understanding of water and energy conservation. I attended Santa Fe Prep, and graduated in 2005. After graduation I co-founded and managed One World Coffee and Trade. One World Coffee was youth oriented, Fair Trade coffee house, whose goal was to give youth hands on experience with sustainable business. I left One World Coffee in the fall of 2006 to attend college at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. There I received a BA in Political Science. During college I became a national debate champion, interned for former Governor Bill Richardson on state water issues, and worked as a fundraiser for Creighton University. I also authored a study on the impact of different types of defense spending on employment in the U.S. After graduation in 2010 I worked for an Omaha based law firm. I am currently back in Santa Fe looking for ways to help tackle our pressing water and energy issues.
