Things are gonna get really really real on Thursday, April 17 for reelMIX. No Joke.

Use this handy checklist to make sure you’re ready:

Bring your eyes wide open, because the film production facilities at FOX ROAD STUDIOS are going to blow you away. Not to mention the pool table and the generally bad-ass “adult fort” that these pros have constructed to their top shelf work.

Bring your ears, because DJ King Ghidorah and his maddening mash-ups are going to crown your cochlea. Boom.

Bring your sense of umami, because the Bang Bite food truck is going to serve up some sensuous bites of saliva-inducing sumptuousness. As always, free food will be on hand, but a larger menu will be available for sale for people with limited will power.

Come thirsty, because The Cowgirl BBQ will be serving up clever cocktails, damn fine drinks and boisterous brews. As always, filling out the survey at the door (or in advance at MixSantaFe.com) will get you the first drink free, courtesy of the awesome Jean Cocteau Cinema.

And bring your gritty good looks, sense of poise and dreams of stardom, because Robert Baxter Casting will be doing an on-the-spot casting call for both Longmire and Manhattan. Don’t leave your A-game in your other pants.

Finally, bring your passion for local food and bold new businesses, because the Greenhouse Grocery (Santa Fe Community Cooperative) is going be showing off the working coop model (based on Brooklyn’s famous Park Slope Coop) and talking aquaponics and gardening with kids.

As always MIX is a private event and YOU and YOURS are invited. Free food and drinks are while supplies last, so don’t be dallying.
