MIX is cozying up to Currents: The Santa Fe International New Media Festival for MIX in the Dark, a dizzying descent into digital danger, video vanguardism, and cornea caterwauling at El Museo Cultural De Santa Fe

We have compiled a list of activities for your enjoyment during this once-in-a-lifetime, you’ll-wish-you’d-been-there-if-you-miss-it MIXtravaganza!

Scope: The new media madness—CURRENTS is bigger, better and badder than ever before.

Quaff: The FREE and mightily refreshing Santa Sidra hard cider slugs (free so long as you fill out our quick survey at the door or in advance online at MIXsantafe.com/survey –the survey will be available on Monday, June 16)

Indulge: In the full cash bar expertly hosted by Kelly Liquor Barn (remember to bring your ID folks, the state has been dropping its black helicopter drones and shock troops into a lot of events lately and alcohol servers have to be on their toes and 100 percent by the book)

Hork: The FREE samples from Dr. Field Goods Kitchen‘s new bakery and butcher shop expansion, including housemade white cheddar green chile crackers topped with crispy bacon and whipped lardo as well as vegetable arancini. If that merely wets your appetite, dig the low-dollar options form the Dr. Field Goods food truck.

Dig: Top notch turntablism courtesy of DJ C-Darth

Score: Tickets and schwag for Rodeo De Santa Fe—the rodeo opens on June 18 and we know y’all love some mutton bustin’ and tight cowboy and cowgirl butts.

Judiciously Assess: The awesome bizMIX finalists and crowdsource the winner of this year’s pitch contest. It’s simple: rock a designer “pitch me” sticker, learn about some bangin’ business ideas and vote for your favorite!

Remember: To have a damn good time and introduce yourself to someone new!
